Allah says in the Quran: وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمْ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ [Translation: And Your Lord said: Call on Me and I will respond to you] – [40:60]
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: الدُّعَاءُ هُوَ الْعِبَادَةُ [Translation: Dua (Supplication) is Worship itself] – [Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3247]
