An Islamic scholar and Founder

Shaykh Sajid Mushtaq is an Islamic scholar, student of knowledge, and founder of The International Quran Teacher Academy. Born in 1984, Shaykh Sajid completed his primary and secondary education in the city of Karachi and proceeded to enroll in the renowned Jamia Abi Huraira Dehli Colony.

There, the Shaykh had the opportunity to study under-qualified and well-known scholars including name such as:

1. Shaykh Khalil ur Rahman Nasir
2. Shaykh Abu Abdul Majeed Muhammad Hussain Baltistani (current teacher of Sahih Al-Bukhari in Jamia Abi Bakr Al-Islamiyya, Karachi)

Furthermore, the Shaykh Sajid also had the privilege to attend the circles of knowledge of:

1. Shaykh Abdullah Nasir Rehmani (senior Ahl al-Hadith and Salafi scholar)
2. Shaykh Ameenullah Peshawari
3. Shaykh Ghulamullah Rehmati
4. Shaykh Abu Umar Al-Afghani (current principle of Role Model Academy)
5. Shaykh Muhammad Tahir Bagh

After his graduation from Jamia Abi Huraira Dehli Colony, Shaykh Sajid Mushtaq was appointed as a teacher in the same institute and taught a multitude of books and subjects for the next 12 years. These included:

1. Mishkaat Al-Masabih
2. Umdat Ul-Ahkaam
3. Al-Fawz Al-Kabir
4. Various books centered around Arabic Nahw (Syntax) and Sarf (Morphology)

Along with his teaching duties at Jamia Abi Huraira, the Shaykh has carried out lecture series on books and topics such as:

1. Tafsir Al-Quran Al-Azeem
2. Sharh of Zaad Al-Ma’ad (Authored by Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyya – rahimahullah)
3. Sharh of Buloog Al-Maraam (Authored by Ibn Hajr Al-Asqalani – rahimahullah)

Currently, Shaykh Sajid Mushtaq teaches Tafsir of the Quran along with Tajweed classes for young and old students alike. Keeping in mind the digitalization of society, Shaykh Sajid along with a group of advanced students of knowledge and teachers have decided to conduct Islamic classes online, primarily on the International Quran Academy platform.
